I understand, I can only use the mag mount on the trunk of the Tesla due to glass top and aluminum front. The Nagoya on a pie plate works well near my the window as some sort of a base antenna. For the jeep, you may need buy one with clip mount that will work with your jeep.. Sksy

You want a NMO style mount with a GMRS specific antenna. This combo has worked great for me with a 1.2:1swr. Needs a metal roof or hood to stick to though.
